We are currently seeking a Part-Time Recruiting Specialist to support our recruiting team here at Katapult. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to continue or pursue a career in recruiting at a stable and growing company. This recruiting internship will be a role where every day is fast-paced, challenging, and a great way to learn about talent management and recruiting.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree required - Extroverted - outgoing and assertive with a likable personality - Communication - express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization - Organizing and planning - develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work in a timely manner - Persistent - aggressively seek personal growth and hit metric goals, even in the face of opposition. Take calculated risks to ensure the completion of assigned tasks - Reliable - project a sense of trustworthiness and dependability

Responsibilities

- Effectively and efficiently source and screen candidates - Responsible for building networks of entry-level candidates through college recruiting activities - Help in preparing candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, business strategy, department background, and job descriptions and establishing expectations - Maintain a positive relationship with applicants through the entire recruitment process to ensure high-quality of candidate experience - Perform detailed reference checks on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers and the executive team - Hold phone and in-person interviews with candidates to ensure their qualifications meet job requirements - Manage and maintain the recruiting pipeline and Talent Block - Partner with your direct Account Manager and internal team to identify the correct candidate targets - Review resumes for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements - Utilize an automated applicant tracking system in compliance with staffing requirements to support the recruitment process
