We are dedicated to providing a healing environment for people who have lost babies or children (before, during or after birth). Our many gardens serve as a natural sanctuary where families can remember, reflect, grieve and begin healing following their loss.
All things gardening in a peaceful setting. As we have 16 gardens, and the work is overall seasonal, there will be times when we're desperately in need of help with maintaining and amending our gardens. If you have issues (physical) with weeding, there are oftentimes many other tasks that you can do to help: fertilizing, cleaning bird baths, helping organize our many memorials, dead heading spent flowers. Perhaps you're interested in garden or plant creativity. We're open to using your passion, creating a win/win for both of us. We do have a couple of horses, a cat and two dogs who are part of our environment and actually our nonprofit ambassadors. The opportunities are extensive. If you know and love roses, we can REALLY use your expertise in our rose garden!
We're looking for someone who is responsible, honest and will complete tasks as needed. We ask that you be clear about your expectations, be honest with your gardening experience, and ask questions to clarify when needed. You can work flexible hours around your needs. We do ask that you have gardening experience and can work independently`.
Dependent upon the season, with spring and fall busier. Responsibilities include weeding, amending soil, fertilizing our many plants, cleaning bird baths, dead heading spent blooms, mulching, occasionally transplanting perennials. Experience with roses a plus ~ pruning and pest control.
