This is a very flexible opportunity. Bus Stop Mamas is looking for a Social Media Manager to contribute to the brand’s team on a temporary basis. The Social Media Manager will coordinate and execute social media marketing on Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting to grow our network. This position is temporary, filling in for maternity leave.
This position is remote-based but must live in Minnesota. The hours are super flexible but must attend a weekly team zoom meeting 8 to 12 hours per week $20 per hour
WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase our followers and engagement on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. • Amplify the Bus Stop Mama voice to build the brand’s following, generate new friendships and find new potential partners. • Craft compelling and concise copy for social media posts, captions, and headlines while maintaining Bus Stop Mamas tone and messaging. • Develop and curate high-quality, visually appealing content for our social media platforms, including text posts, images, videos, and infographics. • Keep up with the latest social trends and look into industry benchmarks. • Report on each platforms analytics weekly • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions on our social media channels and respond promptly, engaging with our online community. • Miscellaneous brand needs re: social or marketing, as they pop up • Occasional in person events to coordinate and participate in WE’LL LOVE YOU BECAUSE: • You are a connector and crave contributing ideas. • You are fun and funny! • You are incredibly detail oriented and enjoy managing calendars and content. • You have a solid understanding of social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook) and can navigate them with ease and confidence. - You are strong in writing and copywriting. You’re a creative writer and have strong grammar and copywriting skills. • You enjoy graphic design projects. - You are an organic community builder and love connecting with others digitally. • You are available to work a flexible schedule and do this role remotely. • You believe in the Bus Stop Mamas mission and are passionate about helping parents (specifically mamas) find meaningful work.
