AIM Services is an expanding business whose goal is to help individuals with disabilities live successful, independent lives through IHS (Individualized Home Supports). Our clients live independently in their own homes or their family's home, work in our community, and are involved in social groups around town, just like all of us. They are strong, independent, self-advocates who just need a little extra support… and that’s where we come in! This isn’t health care, so we’re not bathing, feeding, or passing meds! Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) support our clients with daily tasks such as running errands, cooking, cleaning, and navigating the community. Your day as a IHS/DSP staff might include helping one of our clients fill out paperwork and make phone calls in the morning and helping another client use the exercise equipment at the YMCA that afternoon. Tuesday might be food-prep and movie day, Thursday might be shopping day, and Friday might mean meeting up with a group of our clients and staff for a walk in the park – every day is different! Qualified candidates will be responsible, dependable self-starters, who have a love of people! Candidates will be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license, reliable car and car insurance. Having reliable transportation is a must! as you will drive to our client’s homes and take them to run their errands and attend appointments. We have Part-Time positions available, hours are flexible between 8am and 5pm; Fridays a MUST!! (no evenings or weekends). Previous experience preferred, but not required, and we provide paid training! Starting pay ranges from $19-$21 per hour depending on qualifications.
