Our purpose is to simplify interior design procurement so designers can focus on creativity while we deliver speed, transparency, and profitability in every project.
You'll work closely with our team to manage purchasing across active interior design projects — stepping into our clients' workflows and owning the procurement process with accuracy and care. You'll have the space to work independently and the ownership to manage the details — all while staying closely aligned with our team. This role starts at 5–15 hours per week with the goal of growing into a longer-term, higher-capacity engagement as the right working relationship develops. The coordinator role is perfect for someone who is interested in supporting a small woman owned business and wants to dip their toe into the entrepreneurship pool. This position is 1099 contract and encourages a flexible schedule within business hours.
- Experience in residential interior design procurement or a closely related field - Exceptional organizational skills and an instinct for catching errors before they become problems - Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines without losing accuracy - Comfortable working inside clients' existing systems - Familiarity with Studio Designer, Ivy, or HouzzPro preferred; proficiency in Google Suite required - Discreet, collaborative, and genuinely invested in making the designers you support look good
- Prepare and issue purchase orders with complete accuracy across active projects - Track all orders from confirmation through final delivery, maintaining up-to-date expediting schedules - Obtain freight quotes and coordinate shipping logistics with carriers and workrooms - Manage COM fabric, CFA, and strike-off tracking - Coordinate vendor deposits, balance payments, and invoice reconciliation - Liaise with vendors on pricing, availability, damages, and returns - Perform cross-check audits between RFQs, proposals, space plans, and orders - Support the creation of FF&E proposals using designer documentation - Establish and maintain new vendor accounts, including tax-exempt documentation - Communicate proactively with designers, clients, contractors, and suppliers to keep projects on track - Maintain precise records within project management platforms and related systems - Support high-level financial activities in coordination with the designer’s bookkeeper and accounting team - Serve as a consistent point of contact for each design client, maintaining professional relationships through regular status updates and proactive communication
