The Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role in overall company success by managing the supply chain, as they are responsible for keeping products moving efficiently, and ensuring the customers receive their orders on time. This role is key in ensuring that items are appropriately stocked, packaged, processed and received while maintaining industry safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Tech-Savvy: knowledgeable with computers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. Flexibility and ability to perform a wide range of duties. Self Driven Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50 – 100lbs.). Not required but beneficial: Experience in the Flooring industry and/or RFMS system

Receive and unload incoming flooring materials and verify quantities against purchase orders Organize and store carpet, hardwood, LVP, tile, and installation materials in designated warehouse locations Cutting carpet samples & rolls for showroom & orders Pull and stage materials for upcoming installations and customer pickups Assist installers and sales staff with loading materials for scheduled jobs Maintain accurate inventory and report any shortages or damaged product Utilize the RFMS computer system to review orders, track inventory, and manage warehouse workflows Send emails and communicate effectively with sales staff, installers, and management regarding order status or material needs Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for staff and customers Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) Assist with product transfers between store locations when needed Dispose of packaging materials and maintain recycling or waste areas Support showroom staff with moving or stocking flooring samples and displays
