Our core purpose is to educate our clients on how insurance works, to assist them in acquiring the right insurance for them, and to help them with managing their insurance on an ongoing basis.
The Group Client Services Specialist position is designed to: 1. Service the needs of our existing small business clients with their employee benefits plans. This includes carrying out additions for new employees, terminating employees who no longer qualify for benefits and making plan changes on the company's/employee's request. 2. Renewing existing small business health plans. This involves expressing annual increases in a spreadsheet format, showing alternative options within the plans offered by the company's existing insurance carrier, and acquiring quotes for alternative insurance carriers to be added to renewal spreadsheet proposals. 3. Quoting small businesses for new business opportunities. This includes gathering quote information, quoting insurance on insurance carrier platforms and building proposals for consideration by small businesses. Selling insurance is not the responsibility of this position.
Basic knowledge of windows based programs including Excel. High level of accuracy. Ability to use various online quoting platforms.
