Company Description

WHAT WE BELIEVE Three values shape every decision we make. They were chosen carefully and are reviewed often: INTEGRITY Doing the right thing in all circumstances, even when no one is watching. In home care this isn’t a slogan- it’s a survival skill. You work alone in a client’s home. The quality of what happens during your shift depends entirely on who you are when no one is checking. COLLABORATIVE COMMUNICATION A commitment to respect each person’s point of view. Caregiver to client. Caregiver to office. Caregiver to caregiver. We seek first to understand, then to be understood - and we give everyone a voice through multiple channels, because the best ideas don’t always come from the loudest people in the room. HUMANITY AND GRACE To act with care and dignity with every person we touch. Genuine empathy, authentic respect, real humility. Every person is a lesson - and we are a lesson to every person. We try to make people feel acknowledged, welcomed, and embraced. Clients. Co-workers. Office staff. Everyone.

Job Details

WHAT A REAL SHIFT LOOKS LIKE Forget the brochure version. Here’s what you might actually do on a Tuesday morning: You arrive at Mrs. K’s house at 8:00. You greet her by name, ask how she slept, and you actually listen. You help her get dressed — she likes the blue cardigan today — and remind her about her morning medication. You make oatmeal the way she likes it (a little brown sugar, no raisins, and yes, you remembered). While she eats, you tidy the kitchen, change the linens, and notice that her walker has a wobbly leg. You text the office about it. You play a few hands of cards because she’s sharp at gin rummy and beats you most days. You laugh together. At 11:30 you head to your next client, leaving Mrs. K with a checked-in note, a fresh glass of water, and a little more dignity in her day than when you arrived. That’s the job. Most of it isn’t the tasks. Most of it is the human.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU • You’re 18 or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and TB test (we handle these on our side) • Comfortable lifting and assisting with mobility (some clients need physical support) • Honest, dependable, and committed to following through For certified roles (CNA, HHA): your active certification in good standing. For non-certified roles (PCA, Caregiver): we’ll train you. A good heart and a teachable mindset matter more than a credential.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO Day to day, depending on the client and your certification level, this can include: • Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers • Medication reminders (we don’t administer — we remind) • Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation • Companionship: conversation, games, walks, reading, sharing stories • Transportation to appointments (when client and shift call for it) • Observation and reporting — you’re our eyes and ears, and what you notice matters • Documenting your visit so the next caregiver and the nurse have what they need
