Position Summary The Collections Manager will lead pre-legal collections efforts, ensuring that Non-Accrual/Written Off accounts are handled appropriately to drive increased recoveries in the portfolio before exhausting efforts and moving accounts on for escalated legal proceedings. The Collections Manager will lead communication with clients who owe money and act as a liaison between the legal team to drive the process and insure timely recoveries. This position will be tasked to create and implement effective and efficient collections processes. The best candidate will be self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to be a part of a rapidly growing business. Specific Duties/Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate activities to collect customer accounts. • Responsible for hands-on collection of receivables from customers. • Prepare and review collection reports to determine the status of collections-and aging of balances outstanding to report collections progress. Evaluate, recommend, and take appropriate follow-up actions. • Audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken. • Draft settlement agreements and stipulations • Proactively evaluate processes and make recommendations for enhancements to ensure effective collections and operational efficiency. • Collaborate and work closely with both Sales and Credit Leadership to make informed decisions around collections. • Supervise one or more collection specialists. • Perform other tasks and additional projects assigned by Manager
