To provide financial tools and guidance to entrepreneurs to assist them in achieving their goals. In addition, supporting the internal finance staff.
Financial Consultant responsible for Financial Models and Advising Services on behalf of ICS. This includes ownership of forecasts, budget, long range modeling and any financial analysis necessary to drive growth and profitability for our customers by working closely with key business partners within our customer’s organizations. We utilize a remote workspace with flexible schedules. Consultant will have 4-6 client relationships with a minimum of weekly meetings. It is a great opportunity for an accounting professional to use their accounting knowledge to provide real world problem solving and financial planning for small businesses.
Required Qualifications: • BA/BS • 2+ years of relevant financial analysis experience • Experience prioritizing and managing demanding workloads with concurrent deadlines • Exceptional analytical skills: financial models are efficient, scalable, and intuitive Preferred Qualifications: • Some CPA experience • Solid financial, analytical, and business acumen • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others • Proven ability to have attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to build solid relationships at all levels of the organization • Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas
• Develop and maintain financial reports and financial models to concisely communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget • Collaborate with key business partners to develop, recommend, and establish strategies, plans, and processes to drive growth, profitability, and cost efficiencies • Work closely with key business partners to drive forecast development, alignment, and communication to senior leadership • Reporting ownership of updating results with monthly/weekly with financial data • Generate weekly cashflows and use critical thinking to create weekly analysis • Demonstrate aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results • Generally, work is self-directed and not prescribed • Works with less structured, more complex issues • Serves as a resource for others
