The core purpose of Amma Parenting is to support parents and families through the transition into parenthood by providing trusted education, practical resources, and a welcoming community. Amma’s goal is to help parents feel prepared, confident, informed, and supported as they navigate pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, and the early stages of parenting—while creating a place where families know they have guidance, connection, and a community to turn to along the way.
The Client Services & Marketing Manager is a part-time, 15–20 hour per week position that supports the day-to-day client experience while providing administrative, communication, marketing, and relationship support for the organization. Working closely with the Director of Education, Operational and Facilities manager and owners, this person serves as an important point of contact for clients, staff, vendors, corporate partners, and referral partners and will wear many hats in a small business. A key and consistent responsibility of this position is providing front-desk coverage two days each week, including every Friday, with the flexibility and willingness to fill in at the front desk on additional days as needed when the Operations and; Facilities Manager is unavailable. The front-desk role is an important part of the position and includes welcoming and assisting clients, answering questions, helping with class schedules, enrollments, waitlists, cancellations, confirmations, and other day-to-day client needs while ensuring that every client has a warm, professional, and consistent experience. The position will also provide support with regular staff and client communications, the monthly newsletter, and other administrative needs. Marketing responsibilities will be focused primarily on maintaining an active social media presence with several posts each week, supporting promotions and special initiatives, and helping keep Amma visible and engaged with its community. The role will also be responsible for touching base with corporate partners and referral partners, maintaining those relationships, sharing relevant information and resources, and helping identify opportunities to strengthen those connections. This person may also assist with corporate wellness events, benefit fairs, community outreach, and other events or activities as needed. Additional responsibilities may include supporting website updates, maintaining digital files and online content, coordinating communications and materials, assisting with employee-related activities, working with vendors when needed, and taking ownership of special projects and new needs as they arise. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail. This person should be comfortable learning and using technology and software systems, proficient in Google Workspace, and ideally familiar with Mindbody. Most importantly, the ideal candidate should enjoy working with people, be personable and responsive, build strong relationships with clients and partners, and be willing to jump in wherever needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, solves problems, communicates well, and is excited to contribute to a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for both clients and the team.
