We exist solely to help new parents diaper better and get their little ones out of diapers faster. We're not on a mission to take down "Big Diaper" but their products are terrible for the environment, for a baby's skin—and when new parents go the store-bought disposable route, they're literally throwing their money in the trash. We believe it's better to toss that money into a wash machine and prevent tons of diapers from ending up in landfills.
Do Good is looking for someone to work 12-15 hours/week in our warehouse. The job may also include running one small route each week. First, you have to dig what we're doing—helping new parents diaper better while keeping nasty chem-dipes out of Twin Cities trash cans and landfills. Beyond that, you gotta be detail oriented, work efficiently, and be able to sort dirty diapers and fold clean ones. Pay: starts at $17-$20/hour, plus performance bonuses Hours: Mostly gonna be from 9-noon/1 Location: 821 Vandalia in Saint Paul, MN You or someone you know? Cool. We're honestly looking for someone who is happy to help provide a valuable service to new parents. So, you have to have a heart for helping families. Other than that, the job is mostly on-foot, so you'll need to be on your feet comfortably for a few hours a day. We value efficiency and there is a lot to do every day—so, moving quickly is necessary.
The job will require some sorting of dirty diapers, which isn't glamorous, but it's an important part of the job. But, I will say, as a parent who has changed thousands of diapers, and sorted thousands more at work, it's not that big of a deal. We have several fans set up to blow the scent out a huge dock door that's just a few feet away from the sorting station in the warehouse. Other than that, there will be many, many clean diapers to fold quickly every day as we get things ready to get delivered to our clients. If you are willing and able, there may be an opportunity to drive a delivery route each week as well.
