We’re seeking a Proofreader; Document Design Specialist who will ensure every resume, bio, and client document reflects the polish and precision that define our brand. This position is contract-based, with flexible scheduling requiring ability to turn documents around in 24-48 hours as needed. The Proofreader; Document Design Specialist will collaborate closely with our consultants and client services team to ensure every deliverable meets our high standards of quality and professionalism. Anticipated hours worked per week is 10–15. Position Overview This role combines expert editing with light graphic design to refine and format professional documents for our clients. The ideal candidate is meticulous with language, has an excellent eye for layout and presentation, and takes pride in producing materials that help executives make a strong impression.

• 3-5 years of experience in proofreading, editing, or professional document production. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word required • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and style with high attention to detail. • Solid command of visual hierarchy, balance, and readability in document design. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative, service-oriented environment. • Comfort with maintaining and improving design templates over time.

• Edit and proofread client resumes, executive bios, and related materials for grammar, clarity, tone, and consistency. • Format documents in Microsoft Word to align with Navigate Forward’s templates • Enhance visual presentation by refining layout, typography, and design elements to ensure a polished, professional look. • Collaborate with consultants to ensure each client’s materials accurately reflect their experience and leadership story. • Manage document updates and version control for multiple clients simultaneously. • Maintain consistency across all materials • Provide light graphic design support, such as adjusting templates, creating simple infographics, and improving visual layouts.
